During the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 social networking apps on iOS in Kuwait showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users according to data from Sensor Tower.

WhatsApp Messenger saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 13.4K in the week of February 21. Active users experienced minor fluctuations, starting at approximately 1.02M at the beginning of January and ending slightly lower at around 1.03M by the end of March.

Facebook demonstrated stable download numbers, with a peak of 5.2K in the week of February 28. Revenue trends were more volatile, with the highest weekly revenue of $3.1K in the final week of March. Active users remained relatively steady, hovering around 850K throughout the quarter.

Telegram Messenger had a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 4.6K in early March. Active users also showed a gradual rise, starting at 286K and ending the quarter at approximately 299K.

Locket Widget experienced significant growth in downloads, especially notable with a peak of 10.6K in mid-March. Active users followed a similar upward trend, increasing from 352 in early January to around 9.6K by the end of March.

Messenger maintained a stable download rate, peaking at 3.8K in the week of February 21. Active users saw a slight decline from approximately 232K at the start of January to around 223K by the end of March.
